Before joining local government, Naomi spent six years working in rural research with the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities and the Rural Development Institute, where she gained valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing small communities.
As this year’s Internship Supervisor, Naomi is thrilled to support and mentor emerging leaders. “I love engaging with recent grads and hearing their fresh ideas. Helping interns learn and grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.”
