To sum up, the County of Wetaskiwin is a pretty great place to be.
The County also maintains a permanent Canteen Committee that is responsible for organizing and promoting social, team-building events. A few examples of these events include Lord of the Pies, Salsa Competition, Family BBQ, Curling Bonspiel, Halloween Potluck, Canteen Christmas Party and many, many more.
Ambassador Information Session
Perhaps the most unique and most vital team-building event is the County's yearly Ambassador Information Session where all the County's employees gather for 1 whole day to learn about each department's amazing accomplishments. This event emphasizes the importance of each employee's contributions to the County and reinforces the philosophy that each person is an ambassador of the organization.
