News Release: Curbside and Transfer Station Recycling Coming to the County of Wetaskiwin
The County of Wetaskiwin is pleased to announce the launch of a new curbside recycling program through Alberta's provincial recycling program, managed by Circular Materials.
Starting October 1, 2026, residents who currently receive curbside garbage services will also receive recycling collection every second week.
- Monday Collection: Alder Flats, Buck Lake, Gwynne, Winfield, Wizard Lake and Curilane Beach.
- Thursday Collection: Mulhurst Bay and Lakeland Estates.
Also beginning October 1, recycling will be available at all County transfer stations, providing additional recycling options for residents across the County.
Curbside recycling collection will be provided by Integrity Waste Solutions on behalf of the provincial recycling program. Residents with questions about curbside recycling or collection concerns can contact Integrity Waste Solutions at 780-437-5000 or customerrequest@integritysolutions.ca.
Additional information about curbside and transfer station recycling, including what materials can be recycled and how to prepare items for recycling, will be made available in the coming weeks on the County's website. In the meantime, residents can view the list of accepted materials through Circular Materials.
