Gwynne - Highway 13A (Gwynne Hill) & School St. 

Update: June 29, 2022
Paving has been completed; Gwynne Hill guardrail has yet to be installed.

Update: June 23, 2022
Paving to commence week of June 27; weather permitting. 

Update: June 17, 2022
Paving to commence the week of June 20th, weather permitting.

Update: May 16, 2022
Road work will begin in Gwynne on Monday, May 16th. Prep work will take approximately one week, weather depending. Paving will commence once the prep work has been completed in Mulhurst and Winfield when all areas will be paved concurrently, just as the prep work is being done.

Original Post: 

Ledcor Highways Ltd. has been contracted to complete this work which is the final phase of work that began in 2021. Work involved includes drainage improvements, guardrail replacement, cold milling of asphalt, paving and pavement overlay. Anticipated starting schedule of this project in summer of 2022 with an expected completion date of October 15, 2022. (weather dependent).

The County is endeavoring to safely maintain local traffic access on this road during the project. Please be patient during the upgrades. Reduced speeds will be enforced. Thank you for your patience as the County strives to provide road infrastructure that allows for the safe travel of the public.
