The County of Wetaskiwin is accepting sealed tenders from qualified individuals, businesses, and organizations to lease select County-owned lands.

Tenders must be submitted no later than April 30, 2026 to:

Late tenders will not be considered.

Applicants must complete the Municipal Land Lease Tender Application and submit it to the County Office as part of their tender package.

Lease terms include a 5-year lease period, required general liability insurance coverage, and prior County approval for any improvements or alterations to the land.

Sealed tenders will be opened following the submission deadline and evaluated based on predetermined criteria, including price, experience, and proposed use. All tenders will be handled fairly and confidentially.

The successful lease will be awarded through a Letter of Award, followed by finalizing and signing the lease agreement. Any required payments will be collected at that time.
