Interested individuals, companies, or organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for the operation and maintenance of all six (6) campgrounds. In addition to the other proposal requirements identified in the RFP, organizations should also include all of the following information within the proposal:
- Provide an organization overview, including a description of the organization’s business, operating structure and experience;
- List the organization’s key personnel and include their role within the organization and their experience;
- Provide an overview of any proposed products or services outside of the operation minimum standards identified in the proposal. This should include a description of operating requirements for each service or product, expected revenues, and profit;
- Provide an overview of the operating plan, including a description of staffing and schedule, list of vehicles and equipment, promotion and advertising plan, and an overview of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual duties and tasks relating to the Campgrounds operation and maintenance;
- Describe value-added services that the organization will contribute to enhancing the campground user experience and satisfaction, enhancing recreation opportunities in the region, and the efficiencies to be created in the Campgrounds operations; and
- All interested Respondents must schedule an onsite meeting with the Director of Leisure & Community Services. It must be noted that this meeting will be an entire day due to the geographical distances between each Campground.
Tenders must be received by the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 by 10:00 a.m. local time, September 29, 2023. SEALED TENDERS must be addressed as follows:

The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Tenders and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The County reserves the right to accept a Tender other than the lowest Tender without stating reasons. By the act of submitting its Tender, the Tenderer waives any right to contest in any legal proceedings or action the right of the County to award the Tender to any Tenderer in its sole and unfettered discretion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the County may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work that it deems in its sole discretion to be relevant to its decision including, but not limited to the following:
Experience; Reputation; Safety considerations; Financial solvency; Cost of maintenance; Terms of delivery; Customer service; Quality of past performance.
