Municipal Land Lease Opportunities
The County is accepting tenders from qualified individuals, businesses, or organizations to lease the following County-owned lands.
Sealed tenders must be submitted by April 30, 2026 to the County Office: 243019A Hwy 13- Box 6960 Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 2G5. Late tenders will not be considered. Please complete the Municipal Land Lease Tender Application and submit to the County office.

These tenders are intended to ensure transparency, fairness, and the best use of public assets while maximizing community benefit and financial return.
Lease terms include:
- 5-year lease period
- Insurance requirements: general liability coverage
- Any improvements or alterations require prior County approval
Sealed tenders will be opened on the specified date and evaluated based on predetermined criteria including price, experience, and proposed use. All tenders will be handled confidentially and fairly.
The lease will be awarded by issuing a Letter of Award, followed by finalizing and signing the lease agreement. Any required payments will be collected at this time.
