NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has received an application to amend its Land Use Bylaw by rezoning part of the following land, as shown on the accompanying map, from Urban Residential (UR) to Urban Commercial (UC).

If the rezoning is approved, the applicant intends to use the 0.29 acre lot as part of a future commercial development project with Lots 50-52.

Before proceeding further with the proposal, Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the proposed rezoning may ask questions or make their views known, via written submission, email or attending  in person. As per the Municipal Government Act, any person affected has the right to petition this proposal.

The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the County Administration Office, located 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13, at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
