 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has received an application to amend its Land Use By-Law by rezoning part of the following land, as shown on the accompanying map, from Agricultural (AG) AND Watershed Protection (WP) to Rural Conservation (RCV). 

If the rezoning is approved, the applicants intend to subdivide the 63 acres for family estate planning, and maintain the property’s natural diversity.

A copy of the Rural Conservation (RCV) District can be viewed here or obtained by email.

Before proceeding further with the proposal, Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the proposed rezoning may ask questions or make their views known, via written submission, email or attending in person. As per the Municipal Government Act, any person affected has the right to petition this proposal.

The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the County Administration Office, located 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13, at 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
