Update - August 12, 2025:
As of now, 70% of the Roadside Mowing Program is complete and will continue to move east as weather permits.
Contractor roadside mowers have mowed between Range Road 80 to Range Road 32. They will continue to move east as weather permits.
Update - July 28, 2025:
Roadside Mowing crews have mowed 474 miles and will continue to move east as weather permits. As of now, 40% of the Roadside Mowing Program is complete.
Contractor roadside mowers started at the west end of the County and have mowed between Range Road 80 to Range Road 50. They will continue to move east as weather permits.
Original Post:
The Roadside Mowing Program started mowing along subdivision roads, lagoon sites, solid waste transfer stations and in Hamlets on June 23, 2025 with the 10-foot mower beginning in the western portion of the County. County crews roadside mowing with the 15-foot mower will begin today, July 2 near highway 2, south of highway 13. Contractor roadside mowing with the 15-mower will begin on July 7 in the far west end of the County.
