­­­NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has been asked to repeal an existing Area Structure Plan on the following land, as shown on the accompanying map. NE 35-46-27-W4M

As per the County’s recently approved, new Municipal Development Plan (MDP), new densities are allowed on parcels of Agricultural land without the requirement of an Area Structure Plan (ASP). The Applicant has chosen to repeal the existing ASP and continue raising livestock. 

Before proceeding further with the proposal, Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the Area Structure Plan may ask questions or make their views known, via written submission, email or attending in person. 

As per the Municipal Government Act, any person affected has the right to petition this proposal.

The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the County Administration Office, located 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13, at 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
