Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is a national event that has run for more than 25 years in Canada.
While being prepared for disruption is important year round, EP Week provides a unique opportunity to spotlight emergency preparedness nation wide. It's about making preparedness a part of your regular routine so you are better able to navigate disruptions, big or small.
When we are prepared to take care of our needs for a minimum 72 hours, it allows first responders and all levels of government to focus on managing the crisis and helping those who need it most.
