The County of Wetaskiwin Utilities Department will be conducting our annual Hydrant Flushing and Inspection Program from October 5, 2022, to October 7, 2022 in the Hamlet of Winfield. Hours for Flushing are from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Signs will be posted in Winfield to indicate where the Utilities Operators are working.
During the Hydrant Flushing Program, you may notice your water having a cloudy or brown appearance. This is due to sediment in the line being stirred up during the flushing process. If you notice this, please flush your tap for 5 minutes until your water runs clear again.
