Crews begin final preparations for Phase 2 of the Alder Flats road project the week of May 4, 2026.

• Street sweeping and other prep work will take place ahead of paving.
• Crews will be preparing the roadway for the final layer of asphalt (top lift).
• Line painting to follow top lift of asphalt.
• Equipment may start arriving near the arena area.

Work is expected to get underway soon, with the goal of completing the project before the May long weekend.
