Canada Post Strike: Important Information for Residents

CANADA POST STRIKE

As of September 25, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated a national strike, resulting in a complete shutdown of Canada Post operations. Mail delivery services are suspended until the strike concludes.

Utility Bills: To stay up to date with your utility account, please sign up for e-billing or you can also view your utility information online through Customer Self Service at Register for My Account Access. This online service allows you to access details about your taxes, assessments, utility bills, balances, and more.

New Transfer Station Cards: Applications are still being processed; however, we cannot begin mailing out cards at this time. Residents can continue using their expired paper cards until December 31, 2025.

Discretionary Development Permit Notices: Due to the ongoing postal strike, we are currently unable to mail Discretionary Development Permit Notices. As a reminder, you can view the list of issued Discretionary Development Permits on our website. Visit the Planning and Development Department Public Notices section for the latest updates.

Election 2025 Information: Please visit our website for election and candidate information. Election ads will also be printed in the Pipestone Flyer.
