[ARCHIVED] Boaters Advised of Low Water Levels at Mulhurst Boat Launch

Low Water

The County of Wetaskiwin advises the public that low water levels at the Mulhurst Bay Boat Launch are creating challenging conditions, and users may experience difficulties launching boats. Please be advised to launch at your own risk.

When using the Mulhurst Bay boat launch, please ensure that your motor is up to avoid potential damage. Additionally, avoid "power launching" when securing your boat onto your trailer, as this can increase the risk of damage to your vessel.

The County is working diligently to obtain the necessary permits to carry out repairs and improvements to the boat launch. Pending approvals, work is expected to begin within the next couple of weeks.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward improving this facility for safe and reliable use.

Stay safe on the water!
