Public Hearing Proposed ASP

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BE ADVISED that the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has received a proposal to adopt an Area Structure Plan for the subdivision and development on the following land: SE 3-47-24-W4M

This proposal is intended to create one (1) additional lot out of the existing 89.5 acre parcel.

Before proceeding, Council will hold a Public Hearing, in accordance with requirements defined under the Municipal Government Act (MGA).

The Public Hearing will be held at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Council Chambers at the County Administration Office, 243019A Highway 13, located 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin. Please note that a Council Meeting will be in progress, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and public attending are asked to enter and be seated in the gallery with minimal disruption.

The Public Hearing will provide persons who claim to be affected by the proposed Area Structure Plan the opportunity to question or make their views known, via written submission, email in advance of the Public Hearing, or by attending in-person. Any person affected has the right to petition this proposal, in accordance with petition requirements defined under the MGA.

All Public Hearings and meetings of Council are open to the public.

Related documentation may be inspected during normal office hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be available on the County Website, under Agendas & Minutes or https://pub-wetaskiwincounty.escribemeetings.com/
