Notice of Public Hearing

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 is pursuing a boundary adjustment of an existing Environmental Reserve on the following land, as shown on the accompanying map. SW 7-46-5-W5M, Plan 0828422, Block 5, Lot 1ER

Boundary Adjustment - SW7465W5MAs per the Council of the County of Wetaskiwin Resolution #CG20210311.013, the County is working with the Sunset Bay Community Association to complete a land exchange to mitigate the encroachment of a County fire pond onto both the Association’s private land as well as the County’s Environmental Reserve.

Before proceeding further with the proposal, Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the proposed boundary adjustment to the Environmental Reserve may ask questions or make their views known, via written submission, email or attending in person.

As per the Municipal Government Act, any person affected has the right to petition this proposal. 

The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the County Administration Office, located 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13, at 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
