[ARCHIVED] Proposed New Land Use Bylaw

TAKE NOTICE that the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has prepared a new Land Use Bylaw to replace County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 Land Use Bylaw 1995/54. While retaining many features of the existing Bylaw, this new Bylaw has been designed to include more detail regarding planning, subdivision and development processes and also align with existing County Policies.  


A copy of the draft Land Use Bylaw can be obtained from the County Office or by clicking here.


Before proceeding further, Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the proposed new Land Use Bylaw may ask questions or make their views known. As per the Municipal Government Act, any person affected, has the right to make a presentation.


The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, County Office, 2.4 kilometres west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13, at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017. 


Written submissions will be accepted up to the time of the hearing and should be addressed to the undersigned at the County Office.
