Update: August 16, 2024:
The County of Wetaskiwin has completed approximately 60% of our roadside mowing program using the 15-foot mower. Additionally, mowing with the 10-foot mower has been completed in subdivisions and hamlets east of Highway 20 and the mower is moving west towards Buck Lake.
Update: July 23, 2024:
The County of Wetaskiwin has completed approximately 30% of our roadside mowing program. Roads in the northwest, northeast, and southeast areas have been mowed using the 15-foot mower. Additionally, mowing with the 10-foot mower has been completed in subdivisions and hamlets east of Highway 2.
Original Post:
The Roadside Mowing Program will start mowing along subdivision roads, lagoon sites, solid waste transfer stations and in Hamlets on July 2, 2024 with the 10-foot mower. Roadside mowing with the 15-foot mower will begin July 8, 2024.
