On February 22, a federal announcement as to which groups will administer different aspects of the On-Farm, Climate Action Fund, was made.
The objective of the fund is to support farmers in adopting beneficial management practices that store carbon and reduce greenhouse gases, particularly in the areas of:
- Nitrogen management
- Cover Cropping
- Rotational grazing practices
Partner organizations distributing funds in Alberta:

- Cover Cropping – Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR), ECOCERT Canada*
- Rotational grazing practices – Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR), The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (GFGA), ECOCERT Canada*
