The County recognizes the importance of providing funds to various non-profit community associations to support facilities, recreation, sport, culture, leisure and community based projects. Subsequently the County allocates funds annually to the County Regional Recreation Board. The funding is provided for the development of a board range of recreation services that will provide opportunity for people of all ages to use their recreation time in a wholesome and satisfying manner.
Recreation Zones
Council wishes to provide a fair and equitable set of guidelines for the distribution of Recreation funds through the 5 Recreation Zones (PDF).
