Dust Control on Gravel Roads

Dust control is a program the County offers to residents on an annual basis to suppress dust on gravel roads. Each year an application form can be submitted with payment to the Administration Office. 

Please ensure your flags are placed securely by June 1st.

 

Third Party Dust Control

County of Wetaskiwin residents are now able to employ Third-Party Contractors for Private Dust Control applications. Residents or companies are responsible to select a qualified contractor to arrange for dust abatement services. Contractors shall pre-qualify their methodology and have their dust suppression products approved with the County Public Works Department prior to product application. To pre-qualify, please complete the Contractor Work Permit - Private Dust Control Form

As per Dust Control Program Policy 32.1.1 (PDF), any resident wishing to have an application of dust control by the County must submit a completed application form, along with payment of $6.50 per lineal metre plus GST, to the County of Wetaskiwin Administration Office by June 1st.

Download Application Form (Print & complete application form, mail or drop off the form along with payment to the County office)

Applications and payment must be received no later than June 1st of each calendar year. Late applications may not be considered.
