The Winfield Fire Department provides fire services to Winfield and area residents.

Tender documents went out at the end of November for a new Pumper Unit to replace the present 1981 Pumper which is near the end of its fire service capabilites.

The volunteer ranks are steady and training needs are met on a local basis and Winfield intends to use the training courses presented by the Capital Region Training Group.
