Effective at 8:30 am on June 23, 2023 the Fire Restriction for the County of Wetaskiwin has been lifted.
Permitted burns are allowed. Please contact a Fire Guardian in your Division to obtain a permit.
Fireworks are allowed. Please obtain a permit from an authorized retailer.
Residents are advised that it is their personal responsibility to ensure that their fire always remains under control. Please ensure firepits are at least three meters from structures, fences, decks or trees.
Residents are advised to use caution and monitor fires at all times.
The County of Wetaskiwin continues to monitor the conditions closely and any changes in the situation will be announced on the County website the Alberta Fire Bans website.
